Kat's dance story began at a theater school in her home state of Michigan where she spent her summers learning lines and performing weekly with other students. She continued acting in school plays throughout middle and high school in addition to other extracurricular activities such as speech and debate, horseback riding, marching and concert band, and cheerleading. While her dream was to become a professional dancer, her focus on finishing college took priority and she completed her Bachelor's Degree in Health Administration and Policy from George Mason University in 2009. While sending out resumes to hospitals and healthcare organizations, Kat worked at a local ballroom studio in Virginia where she received teacher training and eventually went on to work at other various studios in the DC/MD/VA area. In 2015 she founded All About Dancing and has continued teaching, performing, and competing ever since. Although her healthcare job never came to fruition, Kat now has her dream job and lives in Maryland with her husband and dog. She is available for private lessons, group classes, corporate events, and competitions. Please connect with her via the Contact section or on social media.
